Where we’ve been

Tuesday August 20th 2024 Our visit took us to two very different gardens near Market Drayton. Wollerton Old Hall proved to have a garden for all seasons and Dorothy Clive Garden, built on a hillside, had a less formal maze of paths and tracks leading to its hidden features and gave us a workout at the same time.

Sunday 17th March 2024  Our visit to Coughton Court Gardens was a bit wet underfoot and the daffodils seemed to be suffering from the harsh weather. But the sight of snake’s head fritillaries and drifts of anemone blanda in the Orchard made the visit worthwhile.

Saturday 3rd February 2024 Our first coach visit of the year to Painswick Rococo Garden was a great success. The weather was perfect and the reported 5 million snowdrops in the Rococo Garden were at their absolute best.
